😳 Guys did you saw this feature?
When you over-plan your New Year, it ends up like this. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
πŸ“ I built my own Markdown editor β€” and here's why

Last night I tried opening a .md file on my PC and realized… there's no good Markdown reader + editor out there.
So I thought β€” why not build my own? πŸ”§

Started with a web version, but that's not what I really wanted.

Then I remembered I was exploring Go frameworks a week ago β€” web, desktop, everything. Came across Wails (Go framework). Absolute game-changer. πŸš€

So I pivoted: Desktop app.

Anyone with the same problem can download it, open their
.md files, edit and preview β€” all in one place.
Still a work in progress, but I'm excited about where this is going.

I will post the repo and the desktop app soon. πŸ˜ƒ
πŸš€ MD Editor v1.0.0 First Release

I built a fast, distraction-free Markdown editor for Windows using JS + Go + Wails.

Simple, native, and actually usable for real development workflows (not another bloated editor).

✨ Features
β€’ Native Windows file dialogs (open/save directly to disk)
β€’ Split view: editor + live preview
β€’ Real-time Markdown rendering
β€’ Syntax highlighting (JS, Python, Bash, CSS, etc.)
β€’ Multi-file support with sidebar
β€’ Formatting toolbar (bold, headings, lists, tables, code blocks)
β€’ Find in document with match count
β€’ Task lists with interactive checkboxes
β€’ Save directly to disk (no temp copies)
β€’ Clean dark theme

⚑️ Built with performance in mind using Go but still optimizing further.

Most Markdown editors I tried felt either too heavy or not practical for real use. This is my attempt to fix that.

Would love feedback, feature suggestion?
