β’ Split view: editor + live preview
β’ Real-time Markdown rendering
β’ Syntax highlighting (JS, Python, Bash, CSS, etc.)
β’ Multi-file support with sidebar
β’ Formatting toolbar (bold, headings, lists, tables, code blocks)
β’ Find in document with match count
β’ Task lists with interactive checkboxes
β’ Save directly to disk (no temp copies)
β’ Clean dark theme
β‘οΈ Built with performance in mind using Go but still optimizing further.
π₯ Download (Windows):
Download
βοΈ Repo: https://github.com/bilalshemsu1/md-file-reader/
π‘ Why I built this:
Most Markdown editors I tried felt either too heavy or not practical for real use. This is my attempt to fix that.
Would love feedback, feature suggestion?
