عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِي رضي الله عنه قال: إنَّ فَتًى شابًّا أتى النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ فقال: يا رسولَ اللهِ، ائْذَنْ لي بالزِّنا، فأقبَلَ القَومُ عليه فزَجَروه وقالوا: مَهْ، مَهْ! فقال: ادْنُهْ، فدَنا منه قَريبًا، قال: فجَلَسَ، قال: أتُحِبُّه لأُمِّكَ؟ قال: لا واللهِ، جَعَلَني اللهُ فِداءَكَ، قال: ولا النَّاسُ يُحِبُّونَه لأُمَّهاتِهم، قال: أفتُحِبُّه لابنتِكَ؟ قال: لا واللهِ، يا رسولَ اللهِ، جَعَلَني اللهُ فِداءَكَ، قال: ولا النَّاسُ يُحِبُّونَه لبَناتِهم، قال: أفتُحِبُّه لأُختِكَ؟ قال: لا واللهِ، جَعَلَني اللهُ فِداءَكَ، قال: ولا النَّاسُ يُحِبُّونَه لأَخَواتِهم، قال: أفتُحِبُّه لعَمَّتِكَ؟ قال: لا واللهِ، جَعَلَني اللهُ فِداءَكَ، قال: ولا النَّاسُ يُحِبُّونَه لعَمَّاتِهم، قال: أفتُحِبُّه لخالتِكَ؟ قال: لا واللهِ، جَعَلَني اللهُ فِداءَكَ، قال: ولا النَّاسُ يُحِبُّونَه لخالاتِهم، قال: فوَضَعَ يدَه عليه وقال: اللَّهُمَّ اغفِرْ ذَنبَه، وطَهِّرْ قَلبَه، وحَصِّنْ فَرْجَه، قال: فلمْ يَكُنْ بعدَ ذلك الفَتى يَلتفِتُ إلى شيءٍ.
أخرجه الإمام أحمد 22211

A young man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allāh, permit me to commit Zinaa (fornication)."
The people around him rebuked him and said, "Mah! Mah!”
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Come closer."
So he came closer and sat down. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Would you like it for your mother?" He replied, "No, by Allāh, may Allāh sacrifice me for you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "And the people do not like it for their mothers."
The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Would you like it for your daughter?" He replied, "No, by Allāh, may Allāh sacrifice me for you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "And the people do not like it for their daughters."
The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Would you like it for your sister?" He replied, "No, by Allāh, may Allāh sacrifice me for you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "And the people do not like it for their sisters."
The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Would you like it for your aunt?" He replied, "No, by Allāh, may Allāh sacrifice me for you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "And the people do not like it for their aunts."
The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Would you like it for your maternal aunt?" He replied, "No, by Allāh, may Allāh sacrifice me for you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "And the people do not like it for their maternal aunts."
Then the Prophet ﷺ placed his hand on him (in another wording the prophet ﷺ placed his hand on the young man’s chest) and said, "O Allāh, forgive his sin, purify his heart, and protect his chastity." After that, the young man never turned to anything like that again.

I would recommend learning the du'aa mentioned in this narration, as the trials that draw a person to prohibited matters are in abundance especially in this era of modern technology and screens, where the things that lead to Haraam are opened up in abundance to us and our children.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ:
"قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ عَلِمْتُ أَيُّ لَيْلَةٍ الْقَدْرِ مَا أَقُولُ فِيهَا؟"
قَالَ: " قُولِي: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعَفُ عَنِّي"
رواه الترمذي

From the Hadith of 'Aishah -may Allaah be pleased with her- who said:
"I said: O Messenger of Allaah, if I realise which night is (the night of) Al-Qadr, what should I say in it?"
He (Muhammad ﷺ) said: " Say Allaahumma innaka 'afuwwun, tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'annee (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me)."

قال العلامة ابن القيم رحمه الله :
"إذا كنت تدعو وتزاحمت في قلبك حوائجك،فاجعل كل دعائك أن يعفو الله عنك،فإن عفَا عنك أتتك حوائجك من دون مسألة".
[منهاج القاصدين (١/٣٤٣)]

Ibnul Qayyim -may Allaah have mercy upon him- said:

"If you were making Du'a and your heart became overwhelmed by all your needs, then make your entire Du'aa for Allaah to pardon you, for if He pardons you, all your needs will come to you without asking for them."

Get your children to memorise this Du'aa.

Narrated ’Abdullāh ibn ’Amr ibn Al-’Āṣ: 
I heard Allāh's Messenger ﷺ saying,
((‏ إِنَّ الله لاَ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا، يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ الْعِبَادِ، وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ بِقَبْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ، حَتَّى إِذَا لَمْ يُبْقِ عَالِمًا، اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُءُوسًا جُهَّالاً فَسُئِلُوا، فَأَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ، فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا))
"Allāh does not take away the knowledge, by taking it away from (the hearts of) the people, but takes it away by the death of the scholars till when none of the scholars remain, people will take as their leaders ignorant persons who when consulted will give their verdict without knowledge. So they will go astray and will lead the people astray." [Bukhāri (100) & Muslim (2673)]
