I've tried all day for ALAC. Maybe the source code has an issue, or it needs to be created separately for Python. Whatever. If you have any small suggestions for other improvements in @hifitidebot, you can drop them in the comments. I will try in different ways again for ALAC integration.

📢 Apple Music ALAC Update

After a lot of testing, I've decided to postpone Apple Music ALAC support for HiFiTideBot.

The ALAC wrapper currently requires a more flexible server environment than what I have available. Platforms like Render and Heroku are great for running the bot itself, but they have restrictions around container privileges, storage, networking, and system-level access that prevent the wrapper from working reliably.

I've spent quite a bit of time trying different deployment methods, but so far I haven't found a stable solution on my current infrastructure.

To continue development and properly support ALAC downloads, I would need access to a VPS where I have full control over the environment.

If anyone would like to sponsor a VPS or help with hosting, please reach out. It would help bring:

• Apple Music ALAC support
• Better reliability
• Faster processing
• More advanced features in the future
