Q: Why is it difficult for me to do the Morning Sitting?

Robert Fripp: When I begin to Do Nothing – as much as I can! - I find a strong resistance. This is how my everyday sense, of who I believe myself to be, asserts itself – thinkings, reactions, twitchings, distractions. My body mostly accepts direction and moves towards a degree of relaxation - enough to keep me upright on the chair, flexible, unforced. And then the thinkings fly around, as if without them I do not exist.

Fortunately, I know that I do not exist, so I bring this nothingness to bear upon that which demands to be something. What then? The electricity of life within the body switches on. It is always there, but I am not. And now I am, at least to a greater degree than a moment ago. This is a beginning. Then, I keep going.

The Little Black Book
Julius Evola

"Julius Evola was a complex and multifaceted thinker in the sense that, during half a century of intense intellectual activity, he was interested, both theoretically and practically, in a wide range of questions, intellectual orientations, and activities... This should enable those who are interested to choose a particular aspect of his thought: often, however, the multiple themes intertwine and have caused some confusion. It has therefore become necessary, as a guide to Evola's ideas, to establish a kind of synthesis that allows, on the one hand, to have a general overview of his thought and, on the other, to make a choice. This is especially important for younger readers." (From the preface.)

@NoHylicsAllowed (I'm sorry if this is Mr. M and not Richard) I saw your message on the video and wanted to add my own experience since you asked about blood transfusions. I had a vax injury as a child that led me to develop an autoimmune blood disorder where my body destroyed my platelets. I was hospitalized for a month in the ICU when I was a sophomore in high school. I ended up needing a blood transfusion after getting my period. It was whole blood. IIRC and I'm thinking close to 8 pints? The normal female my age has about 10 pints.

After I got better and returned to high school, I did a 180. I went from hanging out with my close friends from junior high who were preppy and listening to pop music to not liking them at all and feeling more depressed. I got into darker things. I started listening to metal and feeling darker. I got really depressed and had previously attributed this to unresolved trauma; however I've heard these stories with organ transplants and wondered if that had anything to do with my personality change. I also felt drawn to voodoo and practiced that for a time.

Blood in women takes about 16 weeks to regenerate completely which would leave plenty of time to imprint on me before it was replaced by my own cells. I read the study mentioned in video but it didn't look at any changes post transfusion, just attitudes towards it.

The experience in the ICU also led to an out of body experience. I credit it to my later interest in esoteric study. I eventually gave up voodoo. I didn't feel the same kind of pull towards it about two years after the transfusion. I would be very interested if others had similar experiences.

Highly recommend this book, its a compilation of all of Cayce's psychic readings pertaining to Atlantis. Other than this you would have to look up each individual reading on their archive which is a bitch and not practical at all
