In 1979, a German charged with sending communists to work camps in a post-war kangaroo court claimed that the final solution to the "Jewish Question" meant a Jewish state for Jews. Notably, the term "Jewish Question" originated in England, not Germany, and Zionism was self-admittedly the answer to that question, when its headquarters was in England. As is typical for a kangaroo court, the suspect was not truly able to defend themselves or question the established narrative. Meanwhile, communism was de facto vindicated as victimhood. These show trials served as a form of psychological enforcement against the resurgence of nationalism.
