Ever notice how often you say "like," "um," or "so"? We use filler words because we’re afraid of silence. But silence is actually your public speaking superpower.
The 3-Step Fix:
1. Notice it: Track your personal go-to filler words.
2. Lock it: Close your lips when you feel one coming.
3. Breathe: Use that moment to pause, think, and deliver your next point with confidence.
A pause feels long to you, but to your audience, it just sounds like authority.
