I hate that, stablishments like Christy's exist. The whole notion of making money out of art, without it reaching the artist directly (if alive), is revolting. Damn, what happend to "Art for art's sake."

It just double breakes my heart when, for example, a Ming dynasty vase gets bought by a Chinese citizen from someone in Switzerland through Christy's, and they are so proud to bring back a piece of their heritage t back to its home. It's important to note that, this leads such establishments to gain profit two times over. Once: when looting the object and selling it to the west, and Twice: while selling the object back to the east. In conclusion, fuck them.

Improve work conditions? Raise wages? Nope, he installed safety nets. Wow, just wow. That's why I can't stand people doting over him like he was a saint. People are not great because the media tells you too.
