ژاپنی ها یک اصطلاحی دارند که شرح دقیق این روز هاست. بهش می‌گویند «مونو نو آواره». گلی امامی در کتاب «عشق با حروف کوچک» ترجمه ش کرد ‘رقت احساس چیز ها’ که چیز ها همان “همه چیز” است که یعنی فقط یک چیز که همان زندگی نکبت وار دوست داشتنی خودمان باشد. می‌گویند ‘آواره’ در دوران هیان ژاپن یک چیزی نزدیک به «آهاا»ی خودمان بوده، یعنی گرفتم چی شد. گرفتم که همه چیز دارد می‌گذرد و من هم باید بگذرم، روز ها می‌گذرند و من باید با این درد گذرشان زندگی کنم. باید با دردشان زندگی کنم و از همه رقت انگیز تر آن که حالا که فهمیدم همه چیز دارد می‌گذرد دلم هم برای این درد تنگ می‌شود. مونو نو آواره یعنی همه چیز که عوض شد، من می‌مانم و خورشیدی که هر روز سحر طلوع می‌کند و جای خالی چیز هایی که هنوز نگذشتند.
