Goodnight to one man and one man only, and that man is the really really old guy who asked me if it was alright to sit next to me in the Government building today. He did not have to do that. I could see that there was one spot left, and that he was old, but he saw a young girl alone trying get her work done in a male dominated environment, and did not want to make her uncomfortable. I appreciate him. Also, the bar is to the floor.

زندگی توی خاورمیانه فکر می‌کنم برای هیچکس قابل تصور نباشه. انگار درصد کوچیکی از دنیا سوار شده بر نیروی کار و انرژی و منابع قاره‌های‌ دیگه. اگر کسی رو در بیروت یا لبنان دارید، توی این لحظات سخت پشتشون باشید. حمایت و همدلی‌تون رو دریغ نکنید. هیچکس به ما خاورمیانه‌ای‌ها اهمیتی نمی‌ده تا وقتی خودمون برای حقوقمون و حقوق همسایه‌هامون نایستیم.
