I just spoke to a business journalist at the ABC who is doing a story about interest rates & mortgage stress.
They are looking for a female economist who would be willing to go on camera to speak about current economic conditions & monetary policy.
I ask the journalist whether they would accept if I identified as female for today as I would be keen to speak on the topic.
They said NO!
