Weekend protest!
We gaan twee dagen achter elkaar protesteren bij Roemer in Utrecht. Dit omdat zij ondanks de hoeveelheid protesten nog steeds foie gras op de kaart halen. Je zou bijna denken dat ze het er om doen, misschien zijn ze wel helemaal dol op ons. π€

π Wij hebben materiaal mee, maar zelfgemaakte borden zijn zeer welkom!

Vandaag stonden we opnieuw bij Restaurant Roemer, inmiddels voor de negende keer.
Zolang dit restaurant doorgaat met het serveren van dieren, blijven wij opkomen voor hun slachtoffers.
We blijven zichtbaar en vastberaden tot dat compassie op het menu staat.
Sluit je aan, samen maken we het verschil.
Wil je liever geen demoβs doen, dan kun je ook helpen door Restaurant Roemer uit Utrecht een negatieve review op Google te geven, of door ze te bellen met het verzoek om het van de kaart te halen.
Morgen om 1815 uur voor verzamelen op het Berlijnplein in Utrecht en neem wat mee om flink wat herrie te maken

π We starten om 14.00 uur bij PVH β Danzigerkade 165, 1013 AP Amsterdam. Daarna volgen nog twee andere acties. Rond 18.30 uur sluiten we de actiedag af.

For everyone who signed up, weβll meet on July 19 at 12:45 PM outside HANOS. Weβll gather on the corner near HANOS so we can have a quick briefing before we start.
At HANOS, youβll experience how Active for Justice and Dutch Anti-Fur Movement organise a more grassroots-style pressure campaign. Afterwards, at the Marriott, youβll get a sneak preview of how Animal Equality approaches pressure campaigning.
The differences arenβt huge, but there are some. We thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce you to different approaches within pressure campaigning and give you as broad an experience as possible.
If you have an Animal Equality T-shirt and would be happy to wear it, weβd really appreciate it if you could wear it during the Marriott protest. If you donβt have one, no worriesβI also have two spare Animal Equality T-shirts that you can borrow. Otherwise, if possible, weβd appreciate everyone wearing a black T-shirt.
Please also remember to:
* Bring plenty of water.
* Bring a towel or picnic blanket if you have one for our meal together afterwards in Vondelpark.
During our meal in Vondelpark, weβll also take some time to tell you a bit more about Dutch Anti-Fur Movement, Active for Justice, and Animal Equalityβwho they are, what they do, and the different ways they campaign. That way, if youβd like to get more involved in the future, youβll have a better idea of which organisation or style of activism feels like the best fit for you.
We hope to give you an inspiring day, introduce you to different approaches to pressure campaigning, and leave you feeling informed, inspired, and ready to raise your voice for the animals.
If you have friends, family, or fellow activists who might enjoy joining us, theyβre more than welcome! Anyone who would like to stay for the meal in Vondelpark can sign up until Wednesday, so we know roughly how much food to prepare. And of course, if someone only wants to join one of the protests, theyβre always welcome to show up on the day.
