When NGOs get paid based on the number of “homeless” people they manage, they have zero reason to solve the problem & San Francisco’s exploding budget with a growing street population proves it.

The honest reality is that a large share of people living on the streets in our cities are severely mentally ill or deep in addiction.

Calling them simply “homeless” is propaganda that pretends they’re one job offer away from being fine. They’re not.

President Trump has said the same thing for years: we need to bring back mental institutions for those with extreme mental illness who are a danger to themselves or others.

The old asylums weren’t perfect, but emptying them onto the streets without real treatment was a disaster. And if you needed a real-time example of people who are not thinking clearly, look no further than the protesters outside the White House during the state visit. They sounded completely deranged and managed to embarrass the entire country while a world leader was here as well as showing great disrespect towards our Marines standing guard in the process. Everyone has the right to protest. That right does not require zero common sense or the need to humiliate the nation on the world stage!
