Singapore’s health ministry ENFORCED the social media giants to carry a CORRECTION NOTICE on what it says is a false statement - that implies a new coronavirus variant originated in the city-state and risks spreading to India.

FB said it was legally obliged to comply – after Singapore issued the notice under its fake news law: Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act. (Reuters)

New Delhi's Chief Minister had called for flights to stop immediately, claiming a new Singapore variant was a third-wave threat and extremely dangerous for kids.
