Participants of the opposition rally in Sukhum have voiced their major demand: the resignation of the government, which they believe has failed to fulfil its obligations.

In a final resolution adopted at the rally, the attendees outlined their main demands to the current leadership. It's noteworthy that the protesters have no intention of calling for the resignation of the head of state. Rather, they're advocating for the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers, criticising their policies as ineffective. https://abkhazworld.com/aw/current-affairs/2386-opposition-rally-in-sukhum-adopts-final-resolution-demanding-government-resignation

June 1, 2023 – In celebration of International Children's Day, a multitude of kids gathered at the GUMA cultural-business platform to partake in various games and educational activities.

These events were made possible with the support of the UNICEF Sukhum office and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

As part of the festivities, numerous workshops for children were conducted on themes of science, art, and safety. These included painting, sculpting, workshops from the STEM LAB team (3D drawing, VR zone, scientific laboratory, robot football, seismic construction, mouse racing), toy making, chocolate candy crafting, archery, Adzhindzhukha preparation, a paper recycling workshop, a workshop on “hydrogen from waste” - giving metallic waste a second life, purification of contaminated water, fire analytics – examining liquid compositions with fire, and a road safety workshop for children.
Olivier Tone, the head of the UNICEF Sukhum office, highlighted that, "Play is the most important method of development for a child. It is through play that children learn to understand the world and develop their skills. We were delighted to support the idea of games and workshops for children's development and we hope this will be a significant contribution to unleashing their creative potential." The event was open to all children up to 18 years old.

Special invitations were extended to the wards of the Ashana Foundation, the BOO KIARAZ, as well as the students of the Dzidzaria Sukhum boarding school.

Former Georgian President, Mikhail Saakashvili, expressed confidence once again in Ukraine's victory in the war against Russia. Saakashvili believes that Georgia will also be able to regain "its territories", and the border between Georgia and Ukraine will be established along the River Psou.

We all know his and many of his fellows about Abkhazia and South Ossetia. There is nothing new about this but the question is: Who is going to take Kuban - the historical Circassian lands in his dream? Ukraine or Georgia?
