ያለንን ማካፈል የባህላችን አንድ አካል ሆኖ የዘለቀ ዕሴት ነው። እጦት ለገጠማቸው ማካፈል ዐሥር እጥፍ መልሶ የሚያስሸልም ተግባር ነው። ከበዓል ሰሞን ባሻገር በቀጣይነት የመስጠት ተግባራችንን ማስፋት በእኩልነት ተደራሽ የሆነ ማኅበረሰብን ለመፍጠር ከሚያስችሉ ግብአቶች አንዱ ነው። በተለያየ የኑሮ ደረጃ የምንገኝ ሁሉ 'ማዕድ ማጋራት'ን እንዲያሰፉ አበረታታለሁ።

To share is a value embedded deeply in our culture. To share with those less fortunate than us is a deed that will be rewarded tenfold. Beyond the holiday seasons of all faiths, extending our giving on a continuous basis is a building block to creating an equitable society. I encourage all at each level to expand the ‘Each One Feed One’ initiative.

I am honored to have spent time with our heroic national forces of the central command today. Many have sacrificed in service to the nation and the larger vision of a greater #Ethiopia. Sacrifice, hard work, knowledge, compassion and unity will take our nation to its deserved heights.
