And @CoolioCodes was actually super awesome ... he put everything together and organized it really well. Honestly, he might be the most extroverted person I’ve ever seen 😁

You guys should definitely follow him. He’s planning to make dev events a regular thing and do a lot more of them. Let’s get him to 1K by tomorrow too πŸ”₯

you need to watch this podcast especially if you are just starting your coding journey, if you haven't made a money with coding yet and you are looking for a way to make. watch it with VPN on so @cyber_Guardian5 be benefitted and such podcasts will also grow.…
One takeaway from this podcast is that Brook emphasized his circle at school. I will also go heavy on that. The circle you spend most of your time with decides your life, especially in college. I always mention it, and I’m going to mention it again here: I am grateful that I joined 5kilo campus, apparently not for the school itself but for the community I met.

When I was a freshman and in my second year, our seniors used to tell us about the insane amount of money they were makingβ€”like six-figure salaries per monthβ€”to the point that we were even hesitant to believe them. Those guys are now in big tech companies like Bloomberg and Google. Hearing that every day motivated me, made me ask β€œwhy not me,” and pushed me to work. Of course, I am not making that high amount of money, but I wasn’t left idle either. Being surrounded by that kind of community helped me a lot.

All in all, I am sure this kind of community exists in most tech colleges. Get close to that network and surround yourself with it.

I received a message inviting me to attend the A2SV closing ceremony, but unfortunately I saw it too late and missed the event. I’m not entirely sure whether A2SV is closing its operations only in Ethiopia or altogether. Regardless, A2SV has had a profoundly positive impact on my life; the opportunities it provided, the people I met, and, most importantly, the discipline I developed will continue to shape my future.

I hope either A2SV itself will return back or some other NGO take the place.

April was good. I had good progress in my plans except for social media and reading books.

May is here once more. Plan for this month is just to finalize the final year project, take and finish exams for one last time (we're taking finals in two weeks), and ofc chill.

Let's gooo.

Back when I was in high school and the early days of college, I used to participate in clubs, initiatives, and stuff like that. They used to have events like hiking trips for free as part of community engagement. I really miss those things after seeing the prices for tour and travel agencies offering day trips. If there are any programs like this for grownups like me πŸ₯², please let me know. I will be the first to register.
