Lämpimästi tervetuloa sunnuntaina 14.1. klo 14 - 16 Opiskelijakulttuurimuseoon AYY:n taidekokoelmanäyttelyn avajaisiin!
Vaihtuvassa näyttelytilassa julkistetaan AYY:n tuoreimmat taidehankinnat. Vuoden 2023 teoshaun teemaksi valikoitui vallitsevan maailmantilanteen vuoksi hyvin ajankohtainen toive, “Peace - Rauha”. Taidekokoelmaan hankittavat teokset valitsi tuomaristo, jossa oli mukana asiantuntija taidealalta, taidekriitikko Sini Mononen, sekä edustajat AYY:lta ja ylioppilaskunnan taideasiantuntijajärjestöltä TOKYOlta.
Osa AYY:n taidekokoelmasta on pysyvästi esillä Opiskelijakulttuurimuseon näyttelyssä. Museo sijaitsee Espoon Otaniemessä osoitteessa Jämeräntaival 3. Kevään ajan museo on avoinna sunnuntaisin klo 14 - 16.

AYY's latest Art acquisitions are announced in the changing exhibition space. The theme of the 2023 Art call was, due to the prevailing world situation, "Peace". The Art works were chosen by a jury, which included an expert from the Art field, Art critic Sini Mononen, as well as representatives from AYY and the student union's art specialist association TOKYO.
Part of AYY's Art collection is permanently on display in the Museum of Student Life's exhibition. The Museum is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, at Jämeräntaival 3. During the spring, the Museum is open on Sundays from 14:00 to 16:00.

The try-outs last for about one hour and are held over a two-week period, so the most enthusiastic participants have time to try out several sports. 🚴♂️🏃

Yhteisöjaosto Aavan Maisteritoimikunta määrää helpotusta akuuttiin pääsiäispuutostilaan Pikkupääsiäisen merkeissä maanantaina 25.3.! Tämä pääsiäisviikon käyntiin potkaiseva tapahtuma sisältää monenmoista pääsiäisaktiviteettia, mukaanlukien pääsiäisherkkutastingia ja tietenkin mämminsyönnin epävirallisen MM-kilpailun 2024 🤎 Jatkoilla pääsee myös rentoutumaan saunaan.

Have you tasted the Finnish Mämmi? Or the other traditional easter treat pasha? If not, now is the time! Masters’ committee of Aava organizes a pre-easter party on Monday 25.3. The event consists of all kinds of easter-related activities, including Finnish easter treat tasting and the unofficial Mämmi eating World Championships 2024! 🤎 During the afterparty you can also relax in a sauna.
Mämmi Championships includes solo and team (3 people) divisions. The best eaters will be rewarded.

Join us in defying the laws of physics and embark on a time adventure with LuTku’s Time Travel Sitsit! The sitsit will be held in OK20 upstairs on Tuesday 2.4. We start warming up the time machine at 18:00 and the journey starts at 18:30. To avoid causing any major temporal paradoxes, dress according to your time travel experience (study years), as listed below:

Opiskelijakulttuurimuseon edeltäjä, Polyteekkarimuseo, vihittiin käyttöön 21.3.1958 Teknillisen korkeakoulun ylioppilaskunnan vuosijuhlien yhteydessä. Opiskelijakulttuurien historiaa ja nykypäivää on siis esitelty ylioppilaskunnan piirissä jo 66 vuoden ajan!

The student cultures and history have therefore been presented within the Student Union for 66 years already!
Welcome to celebrate the 66 year old Museum on Thursday 21st of March at 16-20. There will be cake and coffee for the visitors as well as some small program at the middle of the event. Grab a friend with you!
