Important Changes to the Ambassador Bonus

The Ambassador Bonus perk has been a core part of the Smart Diamond membership since it launched in early 2022, rewarding members with thousands of Travel Credits for their adventures.

The benefits of the Smart Diamond membership have continued to expand in the last four years with the addition of airport lounge passes, the AVA Smart Bonus, Bitcoin and Travel Credit giveback options, additional travel drops for holders of Founders Edition Travel Tiger NFTs, and most recently, AVA+ Rewards.

During this time, both the industry and our ecosystems have developed significantly. As the AVA Foundation and Travala continue to mature, our products and services must also adapt to evolving standards, regulations, and conditions.

Updated Bonus Model

To ensure all Smart Diamond membership perks can continue while remaining sustainable and compliant, the Ambassador Bonus will be fixed to US$150 in Travel Credits per Travel Tiger NFT per round starting from the Q2 2026 Ambassador Bonus round in July/August 2026.

This will replace the previously proposed adjustment to the Ambassador Bonus. All other aspects of the Ambassador Bonus and Smart Diamond membership will remain unchanged.

The updated bonus amount reflects the average Ambassador Bonus per quarter during the first two years of the Smart Diamond membership from Q1 2022–Q4 2023 prior to the introduction of the extra perks that have been added to the membership in the years since it launched.

To provide ample notice to the community in advance of the change, the upcoming round for the Q1 2026 Ambassador Bonus in April/May 2026 will be the final Ambassador Bonus under the existing mechanics.

VIP Merch Packs

With the unveiling of the new Travala logo right around the corner, the distribution of VIP Merch Packs to active Diamond members with a Founders Edition Travel Tiger NFT connected to their account at the snapshot date will soon begin.

The snapshot will be taken on Monday 9 March at 7:00 AM UTC, and the VIP Merch Pack claim form will be emailed to each eligible Diamond member on 12 March. VIP Merch Packs are expected to be delivered within 1–2 months of the claim form submission. Delivery fees may apply to certain locations.

Members who won VIP Merch Packs by being drawn as the winners of bonus task campaigns or other marketing campaigns will also receive an email with the VIP Merch Pack claim form at the same time.

Each eligible Diamond member and campaign winner will be entitled to one VIP Merch Pack. Having multiple connected Travel Tiger NFTs will not result in multiple VIP Merch Packs.
