በጅማ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አዘጋጅነት ለሚካሄደው የዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች የስፖርት ውድድር የሚሳተፉ የአዳማ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ (አ.ሳ.ቴ.ዩ) የስፖርት ልዑካን ጥር 14፣ 2018 ዓ.ም. በአዳማ ከተማ ድሬ ኢንተርናሽናል ሆቴል የሽኝት ዝግጅት ተደረገላቸው።
በዝግጅቱ ላይ የተገኙት የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ለሚ ጉታ ተማሪዎቹ በስፖርታዊ ጨዋነት ተወዳድረው ዋንጫ ማምጣት ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ በዩኒቨርሲቲው ያሉ መልካም አገልግሎቶችንና መሰረተ ልማቶችን ለሌሎች ተቋማት ማስተዋወቅ እንደሚጠበቅባቸው አሳስበዋል።
ፕሬዝደንቱ የዉድድሩ ተሳታፊዎች በውድድሩ የሚያመጡት ከፍተኛ ውጤት ተቋማቸውን ብቻ ሳይሆን ራሳቸውንም ለማስተዋወቅ ዕድል እንደሚፈጥርላቸው ገልጸዋል። በመጨረሻም ዶ/ር ለሚ ለልዑካኑ አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍ እንደሚያደርጉ በመግለጽ በድል እንዲመለሱ መልካም ምኞታቸውን ገልጸዋል።
የአስተዳደርና ልማት ምክትል ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ሰለሞን ጥሩነህ በበኩላቸው ዩኒቨርሲቲው በ11 የስፖርት አይነቶች እንደሚወዳደር በመግለጽ፣ ተወዳዳሪ ተማሪዎቹ በመማርና በማስተማር የሚያሳዩትን ውጤት በስፖርቱም እንደሚደግሙ ያላቸውን ጽኑ እምነት ገልጸዋል።
