For Third-Year Students: Internship Information

This summer, all third-year students will participate in an internship. You will receive two important documents from your department, either directly or via your class representatives:

1. Request for Internship Placement Letter (with university stamp):
   ➩ Keep the original letter safe and undamaged.
   ➩ Make several color copies for use during company applications.
   ➩ The original may be required for final acceptance by your chosen company.
   ➩ If the original is lost or damaged, it cannot be replaced.

2. Internship Agreement Form:
   ➩ You must fill out this form yourself.
   ➩ Submit both the agreement form and the request letter to the company where you plan to intern.

Important: 
Collect these documents from the department office or your section representatives. Handle them carefully.

We will soon post lists of available companies and organizations for internships in each department. We are working very hard to keep you informed and updated.

Students Academic Achievement and Standing for Second and Higher Year Class Students

#A_Good_Standing_Student ☑️
◆ A student whose CGPA is greater or equal to 2:00 and SGPA is greater than or equals to 1.75 in any semester is good standing student.

#Warning ⚠️
◆ A student whose SGPA is greater than or equal to 1.50 but less than 1.75 and/or whose CGPA is greater than or equal to 1.75 and less than 2.00 at the end of any semester shall be warned.

#Dismissal ⛔
◆ A student who at the end of any semester scores SGPA of less than 1.50 and/or whose CGPA is less than 1.75 shall be dismissed for academic reasons.
◆ A second year student at the end of any semester with a CGPA of less than 1.75 will be Academic dismissal for good.
◆ A third year and above student at the end of any semester with a CGPA of less than 1.85 will be Academic dismissal for good.
◆ A student who for second consecutive semester scores either an SGPA of less than 1.75 or fails to maintain a CGPA of 2.00 is subject to dismissal for academic reasons unless he is put on probation.
◆ A student who fails to achieve a semester GPA of 1.00 at any semester is subject to dismissal for good.

#Graduation 🎓
◆ A student is required to have a minimum overall CGPA of 2.00 and also CGPA of 2.00 in his major area of study for graduation.
◆ A student shall not graduate with an "F" grade in any course.

◆ Academic probation is a suspension of penalty of dismissal because of scholastic failure. It is not a right but a privilege given by the Senate Legislation.

◆ However, a student who for two consecutive semesters (recent semester) scores a SGPA of greater than 2.00 and if his CGPA is greater or equal to 1.90, up on the decision of the respective SMC may be considered for as a probation student but not pass student.
