✅ Safe and recommended choice based on previous batches and difficulty level.

👉Optoelectronics (ECEg3318)
Course Focus: Study of electronic devices that convert electrical energy into light and light into electrical energy.
Experience: In previous years, no batch selected this course, so it is difficult to give detailed feedback.
Recommendation:
⚠️ Take with caution due to lack of previous batch experience.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (CSEg3206)
Instructor:
Assigned by the CSE Department.
Course Nature: Mostly theoretical; requires reading and understanding concepts.
Difficulty: Simple course, and based on previous data, the majority of students selected it.
Recommendation:
✅ Best and safe choice for students looking for a theory-based and manageable course.

👉Object-Oriented Programming (CSEg2202)
Instructor: Assigned by the CSE Department.
Course Nature: Focused on Java programming.
Recommendation:
💻 Best choice for software-oriented students; suitable for those interested in Java and coding, but requires consistent practice.

Introduction to Control Systems (EPCE3304)
Instructor: Assigned by the Power Department.
Course Level: Slightly complex but manageable.
Experience: According to previous data, most students selected this course.
Recommendation:
✅ Safe choice despite moderate complexity; commonly taken by ECE students.

👉Introduction to Electrical Machines (EPCE3202)
Instructor: Assigned by the Power Department.
Course Level: Complex course and mainly intended for Power Engineering students.
Recommendation:
⚠️ Not recommended for ECE students unless you have a strong interest in power related subjects.


#4th_Year

👉Integrated Circuit Technology (ECEg4312)
Instructor: Previously taught by Indian instructors.
Experience: All previous batches selected this course.
Difficulty: Not very complex and generally recommended.
Recommendation:
✅ Highly recommended and safe choice* for ECE students.

👉Microwave Devices and Systems (ECEg4310)
Experience: Based on previous data, no batch selected this course, so it is difficult to provide detailed information.
Recommendation:
⚠️ Take with caution due to lack of prior student experience.

Note: While these recommendations are based on previous batches and course difficulty, students are strongly encouraged to choose electives according to their personal interest and career goals.

ከሳይቤሪያ በከፍተኛ የአየር ግፊት ወደ ኢትዮጵያ የሚነፍሰው ደረቅና ቀዝቃዛ አየር መጠናከሩን ተከትሎ ከሰሞኑ የሚታየው የሌሊትና የማለዳ ቅዝቃዜ ይቀጥላል ሲል የኢትዮጵያ ሚቲዎሮሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩት አስታወቀ።

ኢንስቲትዩቱ፤ ከሳይቤሪያ በከፍተኛ የአየር ግፊት በመነሳት ወደ ሀገራችን የሚነፍሰው ደረቅና ቀዝቃዛ አየር ተጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል ጠቁሟል።

በሌላ በኩል በስምጥ ሸለቆ፣ በሰሜን ምሥራቅ፣ በመካከለኛውና በደቡብ ምዕራብ አካባቢዎች አልፎ አልፎ አነስተኛ ዝናብ እንደሚኖር ተጠቁሟል።

በአብዛኛዎቹ የመኸር ሰብል አብቃይ አካባቢዎች የሚኖረው ደረቅ የአየር ሁኔታ ለድህረ ሰብል ስብሰባ አመቺ መሆኑን ኢንስቲትዩቱ ገልጿል።

የአሜሪካ የስቴት ዲፓርትመንት የውጪ ሃገር ዜጎች ዲቪን ጨምሮ ወደ አሜሪካ ሄደው በቋሚነት መኖር ሲፈልጉ የሚሰጣቸው ቪዛ ( Immigrant Visa) ሂደት በ75 ሃገራት ሊያቋርጥ ነው።

ፎክስ ኒውስ የስቴት ዲፓርትመንትን የውስጥ ማስታወሻ ተመለከትኩ ብሎ ባወጣው መረጃ፣ ማቋረጡ በፈረንጆቹ ጥር 21፣ 2026 ጀምሮ ወደ ስራ ይገባል።

ሂደቱ ይቋረጥባቸዋል ከተባሉ ሃገራት መካከልም ኢትዮጵያ፣ ግብፅ፣ ኤርትራ፣ሩሲያ፣ ብራዚል፣ፓኪስታን፣ ሱዳን፣ ደቡብ ሱዳን፣ ሶማሊያና ታይላንድ ይገኙበታል።

የባንክ ሒሳብዎትን ከፋይዳ ጋር አጣምረዋል?

የባንክ ሒሳብዎን ከፋይዳ ጋር ካላጣመሩ ያጣምሩ።

ደንበኞች የባንክ ሂሳባቸውን ለማጣመር የተፈቀደው ጊዜ ገደብ እስከ መጋቢት 30 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ነው።

ከፋይዳ ጋር ሒሳባቸውን ያላጣመሩ የባንክ ደንበኞች የባንክ አገልግሎት አያገኙም።

የብሔራዊ መታወቂያ ፕሮግራም ፥ "ጊዜው እየሄደ ነው የባንክ ሒሳብዎን ከፋይዳ ጋር ያጣምሩ" ብሏል።

ደንበኞች በቀጥታ ካሉበት ሆነው በኦንላይን ማጣመር እንደሚችሉም ተገልጿል።

ደንበኛ የሆኑት የት ባንክ ነው ? ከታች ከተዘረዘሩት ዝርዝር ውስጥ ደንበኛ የሆኑበትን ባንክ በመምረጥ እና ሊንኩን በመከተል ባለ 16 አኃዝ የፋይዳ ቁጥር (FAN/FCN) ተጠቅመው ከፋይዳ ዲጂታል መታወቂያ ጋር ሒሳብዎን ያጣምሩ።

Internship Application Information

Starting today, students are taking the internship application forms from the department. Below are some tips to help guide the process:

1. Where Can You Apply?
There are many organizations and companies where you can seek internship opportunities, including:
- Airlines
- INSA (Information Network Security Agency)
- Banks (should be head offices)
- Media companies like OBN, EBC, EBS, etc.
- Universities
- Tech companies
- The United Nations (UN)
- The Ministry of Innovation and Technology
- The Ethiopian Space Society
- Other relevant organizations

Explore these options and check where students from previous years have interned to get a better idea.

2. How to Apply?
- Start by color printing your application form collected from the department, as you will be submitting it to multiple places.
- Fill out the required information, including your name and any other details requested.
- Attach the completed form to any additional documents needed by the specific company.
- Submit the application directly to the organization of your choice.
- Once approved, the company will stamp your application and provide details about the internship program.
-Once completed, bring the form back to the department for submission.

3. What If You Don’t Find a Placement?
If you are unable to secure an internship on your own:
- The department will assist by assigning you to a placement.
- However, it is highly recommended that you search independently to maximize your opportunities.
- If the department cannot find a placement, you will need to wait until next year for another chance.

4. How Long Do You Have to Search?
You can continue searching even after the semester begins, up until approximately the midterm exam period.

‼️Note: More detailed information will be provided next semester as soon as you all return to campus, so there is no need to worry.

Attention Second-Year Engineering Students❗

It’s time to decide which department you want to join and set your preferences accordingly. Please do this as soon as possible, as your preferences may be taken at any time from now on.

Important: 
If you make changes to your preferences after they have been taken, those changes will not be considered. Even if your CGPA qualifies you for the department you switch to later, you will still be assigned to the department you originally chose. If you submit a complaint to the school, citing that you had the CGPA for your new choice, your complaint will be declined. The school will refer to your initial preference, the time your preferences were recorded, and any subsequent changes. The portal logs every change you make (while you cannot see this information, the administration can).

Take action now if you haven’t decided and set your preferences!
