ከጥር 23 ጀምሮ ስስ የፕላስቲክ ከረጢቶችን (ስስ ፌስታል) መጠቀም፣ ማምረትና ወደሀገር ውስጥ ማስገባት ያስቀጣል ተብሏል።
የአካባቢ ጥበቃ ባለስልጣን ፤ ከጥር 23 ጀምሮ ለአንድ ጊዜ አገልግሎት ብቻ የሚውሉ ስስ የፕላስቲክ ከረጢቶችን የሚጠቀሙ፣ የሚያመርቱና ወደሀገር ውስጥ የሚያስገቡ አካላትን መቅጣት ሊጀመር መሆኑን አሳውቋል።
ለአንድ ጊዜ አገልግሎት ብቻ የሚውሉ የፕላስቲክ ምርቶችን ማምረት፣ ወደ ሀገር ውስጥ ማስገባትና ይዞ መገኘት የሚከለክለው አዋጅ ከሐምሌ 23 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ የጸደቀ ቢሆንም፣ ባለስልጣኑ የስድስት ወራት የሽግግር ጊዜ ሰጥቶ መቆየቱን ገልጿል።
"አዋጁ እንደወጣ የወረቀትና ሌሎች አማራጭ ከረጢቶች ወደ ገበያ በመምጣታቸው የፕላስቲክ ስርጭት ቀንሶ የነበረ" ያለው ባለስልጣን መ/ቤቱ "አሁን ላይ ግን በድጋሚ በገበያው ውስጥ እየታዩ ይገኛሉ" ብሏል።
በሽግግሩ ወቅት አዋጁን ሙሉ በሙሉ ለመተግበር የሚያስችሉ የዝግጅት ሥራዎች ሲከናወኑ እንደቆዩ፤ በዚህም ጉዳዩ ከሚመለከታቸው የፕላስቲክ አምራቾች፣ተጠቃሚዎች እና አማራጭ የወረቀት ከረጢት አምራቾች ጋር ውይይት መደረጉን አመልክቷል።
የወረቀትና ሌሎች የከረጢት ዓይነቶችን ማምረት የሚፈልጉ አካላትን ወደ ገበያ ለማስገባት ማሽኖችን ከቀረጥ ነፃ እንዲያስገቡና የብድር አቅርቦት እንዲያገኙ ከሚመለከታቸው ተቋማት ጋር በቅንጅት እየተሠራ መሆኑንም አሳውቋል።
"የሽግግር ጊዜው ጥር 23 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ያበቃል" ያለ ሲሆን "ከዚህ ዕለት በኋላ ሕገወጥ እንቅስቃሴ ላይ የሚገኙ አካላት ተጠያቂ ስለሚሆኑ ሁሉም አስፈላጊውን ዝግጅት ያድርግ" ሲል አሳስቧል። #ኢፕድ
