📚 School of Mechanical, Chemical & Material Engineering Courses...

➲ CC = Course Code 
➲ CrHr = Credit Hour 
➲ PRT = Prerequisite 

1. Applied Mathematics III 
   👉 A course that follows AMI and AMII. 
   👉 You will use concepts from the two previous applied math courses. 
   👉 Focuses on mathematical applications to solve real-life problems. 
   ▣ CC: MATH2101 
   ▣ CrHr: 4 
   ▣ PRT: Applied Mathematics II (MATH1102) 

2. Engineering Mechanics I (Statics) 
   👉 It’s all about physics and problem-solving. 🧠 
   👉 Covers the tension and compression forces of structures; primarily focuses on members and beams. 
   👉 Intended mainly for the Mechanical Engineering department. 
   ▣ CC: CEng2201 
   ▣ CrHr: 3 
   ▣ PRT: General Physics (Phys1101) 

3. Machine Drawing I 
   👉 A more complex version of Engineering Drawing (TD). 
   👉 Consists mainly of part and assembly drawings. 
   👉 You’ll draw machines, showing both the inside and outside views. 
   👉 You’ll work with 45° and 30°-60° set-squares, and a compass; A3 paper is usually provided. 
   👉 Primarily designed for the Mechanical Engineering department. 
   ▣ CC: MEng2105 
   ▣ CrHr: 3 
   ▣ PRT: Engineering Drawing (MENG1032) 

4. Introduction to Engineering Materials 
   👉 Covers the general structure of materials like composites, polymers, metals, and ceramics, and their everyday uses. 
   👉 Primarily designed for the Material Engineering department. 
   ▣ CC: MScE2101 
   ▣ CrHr: 3 
   ▣ PRT: None 

5. History of Ethiopia and the Horn 
   👉 A common course. 
   👉 Teaches about the history of Ethiopia and the Horn, as the title suggests. 
   👉 Includes details about the country’s history, such as kings, empires, kingdoms, wars, and more. 
   ▣ CC: LART100 
   ▣ CrHr: 3 
   ▣ PRT: None 

6. Basic Workshop Practice 
   👉 Focuses on primary industrial machines like drills and furnaces. 
   👉 Covers handheld tools like chisels and saws. 🪚 
   👉 Involves hands-on metalworking, working on projects you'll eventually submit. 
   👉 You'll be provided with a lab robe in campus. 
   👉 Mainly useful for the Mechanical Engineering department. 
   ▣ CC: MEng2101 
   ▣ CrHr: 2 
   ▣ PRT: None 

7. Introduction to School Program 
   👉 Helps students decide which department to choose—Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering. 
   👉 Typically includes multiple-choice questions about which professions align with specific departments and modern challenges. 
   ▣ CC: MCM2101 
   ▣ CrHr: 1 
   ▣ PRT: None

As you progress over the years, AI will advance further, and people may not seek coders like you. Each time you begin to learn coding, you find yourself losing motivation, fearing that your future job isn’t secure.

3. You're copying codes from AI for projects, assignments, and similar tasks. It takes you a long time to understand the logic behind certain codes and solve problems, but AI can handle it all in seconds. With discussions about creating Super-AI (SAI) in the future, you worry you might be left behind in the field.

የአዳማ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በሰኔ 14/ 2017 ዓ.ም የምረቃ በዓላችሁን በደማቅ ሁኔታ ለማክበር ዝግጅቱን አጠናቋል፡፡ በዚሁ መሰረት ከጠዋቱ 12:30 ጀምሮ በዲፓርትመንት ሀላፊዎቻችሁ አስተባባሪነት በዩኒቨርሲቲው ስታዲየም መሰለፍ የመመረቂያ ቦታችሁን እንድትይዙ በጥብቅ አናሳስባለን::  ሁሉም ወላጆች ወደ ስታዲየም እንዲገቡ ስለሚደረግ ወደ ግቢው መግቢያ በሮች መሄድ ሳይጠበቅባችሁ በስታዲየም ውስጥ ጠብቃችሁ እንድታገኟቸው እያሳሰብን ማንኛውም ተመራቂ ተማሪ ከማለዳው 12፡30 ጀምሮ ወደ መመረቂያው ስታዲየም እንጂ ወደ ሌላ ስፍራ መሄድ በጥብቅ የተከለከለ መሆኑን ስናሳውቃችሁ ለምርቃ በዓላችሁ ማማር ስነ-ስርዓቱን ለሚያስተባብሩ አስተናጋጆች መልካም ትብብር እንደምታሳዩ በመተማመን ነው፡፡
