In the U.S., taxes are not the main source of government funding.
The real source is U.S. Treasury bonds, which are largely purchased by the Federal Reserve using newly issued (printed) money, that’s backed by Treasury bonds themselves.. 😂
Here is the cycle:
1. The government issues bonds to finance public spending.
2. The Fed buys these bonds.
This is “paper backed by paper” — a system where debt is used to cover new debt, making it fragile.
📈 In 2023, U.S. national debt surpassed $33 trillion because of this.
Taxes, in this context, are not to cover government expenses & are more to maintain the illusion of solvency.
So the system is sustained by continuous money printing, which is a textbook example of a financial bubble.
And like any bubble, it cannot expand forever.
Eventually, the pressure will exceed the limit, the bubble will burst.
‼️ Basically, a recession is coming, and we were waiting for confirmations, we found them, and we suggest that you sell your bags here to re-buy later in the mid-term.
