One of my favourite techniques is to keep a solid strumming pattern with the right hand, whilst changing the rhythmic accents; I’m doing this here in 4/4. I’ve started on a single open string to show you some of the patterns but then slowly started adding more notes. I like being conscious about when I’m isolating and strumming a single string vs, as at the end, opening up to hit more strings for added drama. I’m curious: does this technique work for any of you string players out there on instruments other than sitar? And sitarists, do you like playing this way too? ☺️
