英國下議院今早就香港警方國安處懸紅通緝八名身處英國、美國和澳洲的香港社運人士展開緊急辯論。

外交事務委員會主席Alicia Kearns MP質問外交大臣祁湛明（James Cleverly）和印太地區大臣卓雅敏（Anne-Marie Trevelyan）：「鑒於現在有三名在英國尋求庇護的人被懸紅通緝，外相這星期有沒有召見中國大使回應事件？如果沒有，為甚麼沒有？」

“Given that three people seeking refuge in the UK have now had bounties put on their head, has the Foreign Secretary called in the Chinese Ambassador this week in response to it? And if not, why not?”

羅冠聰周一（18日）在社交平台公佈Patreon官方最新書面回覆，對方向他確認並無提交其Patreon的任何訂戶資料予港府或任何政府機構。Patreon官方在給羅的回覆中稱，非常重視私隱，不會披露予執法部門或政府機構，除非是因為所在的司法管轄區強制要求交出資料。不過，羅冠聰日前在其Patreon發文回應警方拘捕行動時，已指出Patreon公司總部位處美國，並無需要配合香港國安的調查。

若然Patreon公司並無將訂戶資料交給警方，港警又是從何途徑得知4名被捕者曾經訂閱哪個Patreon平台？《追新聞》記者實測，分別以香港及英國的銀行信用卡訂閱《追新聞》的Patreon專頁，結果發現信用卡記錄只會顯示「Patreon* Membership」，銀行只知道客戶有向Patreon付款，並不知道客戶有訂閱《追新聞》的Patreon。換言之即使訂戶是身處香港，國安也無法透過香港的銀行體系知悉訂戶有訂閱可能被視為有敏感內容的Patreon專頁。
