A cut in income tax will naturally mean a loss of revenue for the government, which will impact the fiscal deficit. The quantum of the revenue loss will depend on how deep the tax cut is.

ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి విడుదల చేసిన 2019 మానవాభివృద్ధి సూచీలో భారత్ 129వ స్థానంలో నిలించింది.
2018 సంవత్సరంలో భారత్ 0.647 మానవాభివృద్ధి విలువతో 130వ స్థానంలో నిలించింది.
భారత్‌లో 2005-06 నుంచి 2015-16 వరకు మొత్తం 27.1కోట్ల మంది పేదరికం నుంచి బయటపడినారు.
భారత మానవాభివృద్ధి విలువ దాదాపు 50శాతం పెరిగింది.
1990-2018 మధ్య కాలంలో భారత్‌లో ఒక వ్యక్తి జీవితకాలం 11.6 సంవత్సరాలు పెరిగింది. తలసరి ఆదాయం 250 శాతం పెరిగినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
అదేవిధంగా దక్షిణాసియాలో 31 శాతం మంది మహిళలు భాగస్వామి నుంచి వేధింపులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నట్లు నివేదిక పేర్కొంది.
మహిళా సమానత్వ అభివృద్ధి సూచీలో(జీడీఐ) దక్షిణాసియాలో ఎక్కువగా వివక్షత ఉన్నట్లు వెల్లడించింది. సింగపూర్‌లో మహిళలపై వేధింపులు తక్కువని పేర్కొంది. ఈ సూచీలో దక్షిణాసియాలో భారత్ కాస్త మెరుగుపడింది. ఈ విషయంలో 162 దేశాలకు గానూ (0.829)విలువతో 122వ స్థానంలో నిలిచింది.
రాబోయే తరంలో ముఖ్యంగా సాంకేతికత, విద్య, పర్యావరణ సంక్షోభం విషయంలో కొత్తగా అసమానతలు ప్రారంభమవుతామయని నివేదిక వెల్లడించింది.

What is ILP?

Russia banned from the Olympics
Russia was banned from the Olympics and world championships in a range of sports on December 9 after the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) ruled to punish it for manipulating laboratory data, the TASS news agency reported.
WADA's executive committee took the decision after it concluded that Moscow had tampered with laboratory data by planting fake evidence and deleting files linked to positive doping tests that could have helped identify drug cheats.

The bill aims to provide citizenship to those who had been forced to seek shelter in India because of religious persecution or fear of persecution in their home countries -- Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Department for Skill Development and Training
AP government has created a new department for Skill Development and Training to achieve the objective
and goal of Skill Development Entrepreneurship and Innovation with coordinated efforts and convergence of services with other departments. This will help in preparing necessary human resources to meet the requirement of various industries so that it would become possible to provide 75 per cent employment to local candidates.
This is on the lines of the department of Skill Development Entrepreneurship which was created by the Government of India.

Telangana government has agreed to implement the recommendations of Sheela Bhide committee on the issues of 68 institutions out of 91 common institutions mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act.
