⬆️ People who often talk about others being anxious are the ones who are psychologically projecting their own anxiety on to others in hopes that it will cover their own footsteps of nervousness.

I live a fearless life, bold and free! As Christians, that is what we are called to do. The joy of the Lord is our strength but to be honest with you I find it very hard to be joyful in the midst of these troubled times and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I know we need to give our burdens to God and I try to but why would God make us with emotions like anger and sadness if only to be happy in the midst of the struggle? Are we not allowed to be real or must we walk around being deceptive and fake for the rest of our lives, never actually showing people how we really feel?

If the joy of the Lord is our strength that doesn't mean that we can't ever be upset or frustrated when we should be. After all Jesus himself on the cross showed frustration and not joy when He said father why have thou forsaken me. If he himself was God and the joy of the Lord is our strength, then why was he weak in that moment? Since we are much less than He, then what else would anyone expect from us?

I think the idea is to be relentless and to try to be joyful as much as possible but there's some serious things that need to be confronted in this world today. Walking around being fake to convince yourself and others that you are joyful in the midst of the storm is disingenuous and it only represses your true emotions ultimately doing damage to you and those around you who care about you.

As the Bible says, there's a time for everything under the sun. Be wise enough to know which time is which and trust in the Lord always for He willl give you strength!
