Nuclear-armed Pakistan considers itself in an “open war” with Afghanistan, Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif said, adding patience has run out following what Islamabad calls a cross-border attack by Afghan forces (the Taliban government’s military) against Pakistani military positions along the shared border shortly before Pakistan’s airstrikes.

Unconfirmed reports claim a Pakistani aircraft was shot down in Afghanistan & that Pakistani ground troops have been detained.

🇮🇱 🇱🇧 IDF Strikes 8 Hezbollah Radwan Force Military Camps Near Baalbek, Lebanon

The IDF spokesperson said strikes in Lebanon’s Baalbek area targeted eight military camps used to store weapons and train Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force.

According to the IDF, the sites were used to plan and carry out attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.

Al-Manar reported that the strikes hit Shomstar and Budai west of Baalbek (Albek), as well as Halbata in the northern Jordan Valley.

Shomstar and Budai are towns near Baalbek in eastern Lebanon. The northern Jordan Valley referenced is in southern Lebanon, not the country of Jordan.

Yet another powerful explosion took place from the volcano yesterday.
A towering pillar of gas, ash and other ejecta rose to about 17,000 ft (5,200 m) altitude, drifting west-southwest.
Incandescent material showered the summit crater with glowing lava bombs.
The eruption also produced pyroclastic flows that raced over the eastern and southeastern flanks, reaching a length of about 2,000 m from the summit.

The Taliban’s announcement was both a military signal & a political message: a warning that further Pakistani airstrikes could trigger direct confrontation along the border. Pakistan says recent cross-border attacks were launched from Afghan territory by militants targeting Pakistani security forces.

Pakistan Struck the Same Afghan Cities (Kabul & Kandahar)

This signaled an ongoing pattern of cross-border retaliation.

A Suicide Bombing at a Shiite Mosque in Islamabad Killed at Least 31–32 People & Injured Many Others

The attack was claimed by Islamic State – Khorasan Province (ISIS-K).

🔴 November 11, 2025:
A Suicide Nombing Near Islamabad’s District & Sessions Court Killed 12 People & Injured Dozens

The attack was widely attributed to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or a linked faction such as Jamaat-ul-Ahrar. Islamabad accused Afghan Taliban-linked networks & India of facilitating or harboring militants behind the attack, claims denied by both Kabul & New Delhi. Pakistan has repeatedly accused the Afghan Taliban government of providing safe haven to TTP militants operating from Afghan soil — a claim denied by the Taliban government.

🔴 September 29, 2023:
Over 50 Were Killed, & 70 Injured in Suicide Bombings at 2 Mosques in Pakistan

No militant group claimed responsibility for the attacks, and the TTP specifically denied carrying them out. It remains unclear which group carried out the bombings, but ISIS’s regional affiliates have carried out similiar attacks in Pakistan previously.
