The Bible teaches that the believer’s fight against evil is primarily spiritual and must be rooted in love, truth, and righteousness. Believers are called to put on the full armor of God — truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the Word of God — to stand firm against the schemes of darkness, while acting out of love for God and for others. Defending the innocent, resisting oppression, and protecting life are done not out of hatred for evildoers, but out of sacrificial care for the vulnerable, reflecting God’s character, and a desire for God’s righteousness to prevail. This creates a holistic approach where spiritual faith, righteous action, and love are inseparable.

Christ’s ultimate example — laying down His life for others — shows that true victory over evil flows from love expressed in action, even when confronting real-world threats.

True victory comes from
spiritual reliance on God, moral courage, and love-motivated action work together, ensuring that both spiritual and physical resistance serve God’s justice and protect the vulnerable.
