Alabama lawmakers are considering a bill that, if passed, would make disrupting worship services a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

STEVE'S TAKE: Before you go celebrating this, keep the following in mind...

1⃣ First off, people have the right to free speech.

2⃣ Second, this is not the way to handle the situation. The proper approach is to have security at your church so that if individuals come in and demonically disrupt the service, they can be asked to leave the property. Ideally, however, the church and its members would choose to engage the disruptors with the gospel, which is the best solution.

If you do decide that they need to leave and they refuse after being politely asked, then security should remove them while simultaneously contacting the police.

3⃣ Third, creating rules like this may sound reasonable now, but what happens when churches continue preaching and teaching the false doctrines that have become common in modern times, and genuine Christians speak up for the right reasons? Will you support silencing real Christians for proclaiming biblical truth to false teachers, churches, or churchgoers?

Make no mistake—this is where such measures lead; this is what they are ultimately about. Do not be short-sighted or unwilling to recognize that reality.

That’s the bread I’ve been buying because it’s the only one that doesn’t list bioengineered ingredients and is labeled non-GMO.

To me, this suggests they are deliberately targeting consumers like me/us who avoid bioengineered foods, knowing we’ll choose it precisely because it claims not to contain them.

"We are prepared to assist/intervene when the time is right, based on our administration’s judgment & your decisions. Until then, keep fighting—but understand that, for now, you're on your own."

This would've given the Iranian people clarity about where they stood, rather than leading them on with false hope.

That said, while I sympathize with the Iranian people’s desire for freedom, they should've known that despite Trump's words of support & encouragement, such change takes time.

Instead, like a jackass, donkey chasing a carrot, they expected immediate intervention.
