This morning, U.S. Transportation Command began a large-scale deployment of U.S. ground troops to the Middle East.

Multiple troop-configured Boeing 747 aircraft departed from the continental United States, routing through Europe—such as Ramstein Air Base—with final destinations including Kuwait. Each aircraft is carrying approximately 453 personnel.

One confirmed example is an Atlas Air–operated Boeing 747, tail number N482MC, which departed Baltimore, routed through Ramstein, & continued on to Kuwait. Numerous similar flights are currently underway.

This type of troop movement is characterized as being consistent only with preparations for a ground invasion.
