Iran has deployed air-defense systems, “coastal defense units,” submarines, coastal missile batteries, ballistic missiles of various ranges, and swarms of suicide drones along the coastline of Hormozgan Province, around the port of Bandar Abbas, and at the eastern entrance to the Gulf of Oman.

   •   Abu Musa Island – Deployment of short- and medium-range air-defense systems.

   •   Fateh-110 – A short-range, solid-fuel ballistic missile.
      •   Warhead: approximately 400–500 kg

   •   Qadr-110 – A medium-range ballistic missile with a range of 1,600–2,000 km, capable of reaching Israel.
   •   Qadr-380 – A two-stage ballistic missile with a range of up to 2,000 km, carrying a 650–800 kg warhead.

Deployed on Qeshm Island, the Kuh-e Mobarak coastline, Abu Musa and Tunb Islands, and Bandar Abbas.

      •   Armor-piercing warhead designed to detonate inside the hull after penetration.
   •   Nasr – Range over 100 km; warhead 130–150 kg.
   •   Abu Mahdi – Range approximately 1,000 km; warhead about 410 kg.
      •   The most powerful cruise missile in Iran’s naval arsenal, capable of disabling or sinking even very large warships, including destroyers.
   •   Noor – Range 120–170 km (variant-dependent); warhead ~155 kg.
      •   Armor-piercing missile equipped with a delayed-fuse, detonating after penetrating the ship’s hull.
   •   Khalij Fars – Range ~300 km; warhead ~650 kg.

6. Submarines (deployed at the port of Bandar Abbas)
   •   Fateh – A “semi-heavy” attack submarine.
      •   Equipped with six 533-mm torpedo tubes, capable of launching anti-ship cruise missiles (such as the Jask-2) while submerged, in addition to heavy torpedoes and naval mines.
   •   Ghadir – A midget submarine.
      •   Despite its small size, it is armed with two 533-mm torpedo tubes, capable of launching heavy torpedoes, laying naval mines, and even firing anti-ship cruise missiles.
