Speaking with Galei Tzahal, Israel’s army radio, Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu (Otzma Yehudit) discussed Israel’s 12-day war with Iran in June and the preparations Israeli assets operating in the Islamic Republic made to help facilitate the air campaign.
“When we attacked in Iran during [Operation] ‘Rising Lion,’ we were on its soil and knew how to lay the groundwork for a strike,” Eliyahu said.
The minister then added that Israel has agents operating in Iran at this time.
SIDE NOTE: Over the past 24 hours, multiple reports indicate that Iran has taken steps consistent with preparations for an offensive operation.
