The British newspaper "Financial Times" reported that Washington (US) & Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) are conducting advanced talks towards a new defense agreement that aims to enhance military & intelligence cooperation, similar to a recent pact with Qatar, determining an attack on Saudi Arabia will be considered a threat to US security.
The report says Trump may announce the agreement during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's upcoming visit to the White House next month.
SIDE NOTE: Saudi Arabia's already among the biggest buyers of US weapons.

Red Cross vehicles are now heading to a handover site in the southern Gaza Strip to collect the body of a hostage from Hamas, the IDF says.
Hamas did not identify the hostage whose body it is set to hand over.
The terror group said that it had "retrieved" the body today. Footage and images from earlier today showed Hamas operatives digging in the Hamad Town residential complex in southern Gazaโs Khan Younis, with Arab media naming a hostage whose body was apparently buried in a tunnel in the area.
