Weiss, aged 55, was murdered on October 7th, 2023, as he ran to the weapons storage room in Kibbutz Be'eri, where he lived.

However, I'm inclined to believe across a larger test sample population, this would only deter crime with those who are intimidated by law enforcement who usually don't commit much crime anyways because for the most part, they value the rule of law and order, though you could view this as an infringement by the police state.

The identification process of Shtivi at the Institute of Forensic Medicine took several days. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, and his partner.
