Washington, D.C. – The U.S. is supplying Ukraine with tens of thousands of drones every month to support the country’s ongoing war effort against Russia, according to Shelby Ochs of the U.S. National Drone Association.

In an interview during the SCSP AI Expo, Ochs explained that drones have become a central tool in modern warfare, particularly in Ukraine.

“If you read any article right now about First-Person View drones (FPV) drones in Ukraine, you’ll see thousands—tens of thousands—of drones are being consumed every month for various purposes,”

The American lobbyist Jay Footlik, together with Israel Einhorn, led a public awareness campaign during the war starting in April 2024, aimed, among other things, at countering accusations against Qatar after Oct. 7 regarding its ties with Hamas.
