ICE says that the 35-year-old illegal alien from Colombia entered the United States in Lukeville, Arizona on July 14, 2024. He was then apprehended by Customs and Border Protection, who found he did not have valid documentation. He was entered into removal proceedings, but was later released into the interior of the United States by the Biden administration.
Then he tried to join ISIS.
The Columbian national was asked to record and send videos of himself pledging allegiance to ISIS.
He was arrested on May 22, 2025 in a joint effort between ICE and the FBI in the Boston area during Operation Patriot, a wider operation in the area that resulted in the arrest of nearly 1,500 illegal aliens in the region.

The Tennessee Highway patrol says it's assisting on the scene of a plane crash in Tullahoma, about an hour and 20 minutes southeast of Nashville.
