STEVE'S TAKE: Although stopping the Muslim building and expansion initiative is a good thing, I don't think this is the right way to have gone about stopping it.

Extraterritorial jurisdiction can be seen as limiting freedom because it allows a country (in this case the city) to impose its laws on individuals and entities outside its borders, potentially infringing on the rights of those who are not subject to that country's legal system. This practice can undermine the principle of self-determination and state (city) sovereignty and lead to controversial land acquisitions, often referred to as land grabbing. This practice can involve the large-scale acquisition of land by governments or corporations, potentially impacting local communities and their rights to property.

I just think it's a slippery slope where the government can use this to seize land. For now, it's being used against the Muslims. But how long before they use it against your average every day Americans who aren't Muslims?

Just because we have to stop Islam, that doesn't mean we should panic and frantically become communists to do so. We have to stay true to the free practices of the Republic.

Instead they should have utilized the Four Provisions of the U.S. Constitution to Stop the Illegal Immigrant & Muslim Invasion of America and we should just be kicking ALL Muslims out of America because they're ALL in violation of the National Oath of Allegiance they took. Whenever they took it, they couldn't possibly ever truly mean it because of their belief system (i.e. loyalty to the false God Allah and not Jesus and because of their belief in Sharia NOT Constitutional Law).

Considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Pete Rose was finally removed from Major League Baseball’s (MLB) permanently ineligible list — making him eligible for the MLB Hall of Fame for the first time-ever.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred announced on Tuesday that the ban on the player’s eligibility will be lifted posthumously.

The commissioner’s decision comes after an application for reinstatement was filed by Rose’s family after the Cincinnati Reds great died on September 30, 2024, at 83-years-old.
