Stock futures are absolutely soaring as the U.S. and China have agreed to lower tariffs by 115% on each other for 90 days.
The US just cut its average tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30%, and China cut its average tariffs on US imports from 125% to 10%.

STEVE'S TAKE: This is a good deal. However, it also seems to discourage and contradict the whole Made in the U.S.A. movement of the Trump Administration because now China doesn't have to pay such high tariffs to import it's products into the United States. That decreases the likelihood that Chinese companies would build plants and factories here in the United States and make products here to avoid tariffs. In turn, that means fewer, not more jobs for Americans.
I suppose there's always a give and take with these things. So, I'm kind of torn on this deal a bit.

The "possible" weaponry package includes:
♦️ Six CH-47F Block II Chinook helicopters,
♦️ 20 M-240 machine guns,
♦️ Fuel tanks, engines, and machine guns,
♦️ Navigation devices and missile warning systems,
♦️ Software and communications equipment.
This comes as Trump kicks off his Mideast tour, during which he will visit Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
STEVE'S TAKE: I'm not happy about this or about seeing the word Emirates on jerseys & basketball courts etc, in the U.S.

🇮🇱 Israel Has Carried Out a Large Wave of Airstrikes Near the European Hospital in Southern Gaza's Khan Yunis Targeting Hamas Operatives Who Were Operating in the Area
The IDF confirms launching strikes at the European Hospital in southern Gaza, saying it targeted Hamas operatives at an underground command center below the medical center.
Hamas leader Muhammad Sinwar was the target of IDF strike at Gaza hospital.
Rafah Brigade Commander & Hamas spokesman Abu Obaida, were with Muhammad Sinwar in the bombed tunnel.
If the assassination was successful, two birds with one stone were killed.
Several casualties are reported in the strikes, but it's presently unknown if Israel was successful in it's assassination attempt.
Nine bunker busters bombs were dropped on the target! The IDF is optimistic!
Prior to and during the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians & civilian infrastructure, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, & additional intelligence.
