The volcanic plume reached a height of 2,600 meters, but no volcanic rocks were ejected. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a Level 3 alert, warning against approaching the volcano.

In case of positive identification of a hostile aircraft, & its intrusion of UAVs into the sovereign airspace of the Islamic Republic, regional air defense commanders don't require higher up approval to engage the target.
