Egypt has proposed a 53 billion dollar GAZA reconstruction plan that does not stipulate removing Hamas and does not mention who will front the 53 billion dollars.

Egypt’s $53 Billion Gaza Reconstruction Plan:

🔴 Total timeline: 5 years.

🔴 Early recovery (6 months): Debris removal, temporary housing.

🔴 Phase 1 (2 years): 200,000 housing units ($20 billion)

🔴 Phase 2 (2.5 years): 200,000 more units, Gaza airport ($30 billion)

Needless to say, The White House rejected the Gaza reconstruction plan proposed by Egypt and adopted by the Arab League.

White House National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes said,

"The current proposal does not address the reality that Gaza is uninhabitable, and its residents cannot live there humanely when it is covered in rubble and unexploded bombs."

He added that

"President Trump stands behind his vision to rebuild Gaza without Hamas,"

but emphasized that the United States

"looks forward to continuing talks"

on the issue.
