STEVE'S TAKE: Four things stood out to me after watching this interview:

1. Honestly, for some reason I feel like he was trying to overdramatize the situation. I say that with the utmost respect, because I can't stand Islam or the fact that they took anyone hostage. Anyone who knows me knows that. But truthfully there was just something about the way he was delivering the story where I felt like you wouldn't have to do that. It would just kind of genuinely flow out of you. So, that was weird to me.

2. Why didn't he tell us all more about the beatings he received? Why wasn't that more of a focal point in the interview?

3. I was surprised to hear that they gave him pasta and dates at all. With that said, I'm sure some people didn't get any, which is why they're dead... well, from that or the beatings or straight up murder.

4. This particular news channel has a gay rainbow number at the top right, and the whole conversation sounded a little bit well... gay to me, talking about that guy he met. not surprising, because Channel 12 is the Israel equivalent to NBC. I understand growing close with someone as a hostage, but the way it was told just seemed a little bit fruity to me.

There I go again telling the truth, saying what no one else will.

The decision was made with the end of the first phase of the deal and Hamas’s refusal to accept Witkoff’s plan to continue the talks.

The effect of stopping all humanitarian aid into Gaza will not be immediate. Israel believes that the humanitarian aid delivered during the ceasefire will sustain Hamas for up to six months. Gaza is currently overflowing with food, supplies, and medications.

So, when the Nazis of Hamas start crying out about a famine due to the halt in the entrance of humanitarian aid trucks remind then that Hamas’s warehouses are overflowing with supplies after aid was ramped up, per phase 1 of the agreement, to 600 trucks per day over the last 42 days; over 25,000 trucks. This is over 4 times the daily aid supply required to sustain the population. Gaza was stocked up for the next six months by this aid surge alone, not accounting for prior stockpiles.

SIDE NOTE: After halting humanitarian aid into Gaza, Israel is planning to cut water and electricity. If that doesn’t work, a powerful military operation is expected. These steps are fully coordinated with and approved by the Trump administration.
