Finnish authorities raided a ship with alleged links to Russia that has been accused of rupturing a key source of communication in the Baltic Sea.

Finnish authorities raided a ship with alleged links to Russia that has been accused of rupturing a key source of communication in the Baltic Sea.
According to Finland's National Bureau of Investigation, the anchor traces stretch more than 60 miles on the sea bed.
The vessel now has a missing anchor and has been detained by Finnish law enforcement who bordered the vessel from a helicopter at the port of Kilpilahti.
"The trail ends where the ship has raised the anchor chain, and from there to the east [the trail] stretches for several dozen, if not almost a hundred kilometers," said Sami Paila, the NBI chief.

Israel has contacted Egypt to demand answers after the IDF has recognized a significant increase of military activity in the Sinai peninsula, violating the peace agreement between the countries, Channel 14 reported.
The Israeli news channel said the military had recognized “gross violations” of the peace agreement, including the building of anti-tank obstacles, “significant” logistical preparations, and the deployment of whole armored divisions in the central Sinai.

🇮🇷 Iran Holds Air Defense Units Exercise; Has Installed a New Over-the-Horizon (OTH) Radar With a Range of 800 KM in the Northwest Region of the Country
A Nazir OTH radar was put into operation to monitor the country's northern airspace in the highlands of Gilan Province and added to the country's integrated air defense network.
Nazir radar with its 800 km range, can detect targets at altitudes exceeding 30 km. It can identify various low radar cross-section targets, such as drones and cruise missiles.
With the Nazir radar in Gilan, the entire airspace over the Baku government, Armenia, large parts of eastern Turkey, and the Caspian Sea will be under Iran's air defense surveillance.
