Apparently, now I have to boycott the play store entirely, because there's never been a need for a password before to download apps, whether they're free or not, and there's certainly no reason for that to happen now.
Right now they're telling you, you have the option of just creating a password and not doing biometrics, but that will go away soon enough and all that will be left is biometric scanning requirements by GOOGLE GLOBALISTS❗️

Immediately turn off all biometric ID features on your phone and use a password instead. If your phone has an anti-theft feature to block repeating guessing of your password, turn it on! The same logic applies to tablets and laptops.
