Senior IDF officials are considering accepting the plan to turn Northern Gaza into a closed military zone.
This plan is called the 'Island Plan,' and the IDF is considering adopting it, or at least parts of it. Recently, some high-ranking commanders have already expressed support for the move.
According to the plan, the IDF will evacuate more than 200,000 Gazans in Northern Gaza and turn the entire area north of the Netzarim Corridor into a territory under complete Israeli military control.
