🇮🇱 🇱🇧 👀 Northern Israel Sky a Few Hours Ago
- At 04:30 more than 100 Israeli warplanes attacked/destroyed thousands of rocket launchers at ≈ 40 launch sites in a ‘preemptive’ IDF strike against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
- Hezbollah had been planning to launch up to 6,000 rockets & drones (some from tunnels) towards Tel Aviv & central Israel, at 05:00.
- According to Hezbollah,
- So far the attacks have been mostly on IDF bases in preparation for potential deeper attacks into Israeli territory.
- Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant has now declared a special situation in the home front throughout the country. The declaration of the state of emergency allows the IDF to set special instructions for the population, limit gatherings & close sites in the relevant places.
- The IDF approved the re-opening of Ben Gurion airport, starting at 07:00.
