Saudi Arabia has reportedly told Iranian Officials, that it will not allow Iran to use Saudi Airspace to launch an Attack on Israel, and that any Missiles, Drones, or Aircraft that enter its Airspace will be seen as a Violation of Saudi Sovereignty, stating that, “We are Defending ourselves, not Israel.”

A military source told the Arabic-language Sky News channel that Jordan had informed the US, Israel and Iran that it would not allow the use of the country's airspace by any party. The source added that the Jordanian foreign minister informed Tehran (during the round of meetings he held yesterday) that in case they respond to Israel, they must stay away from Jordanian skies. Also, the Jordanian Foreign Minister informed during his stay in Tehran that, by the same token, Israel will not be allowed to use the country's airspace.

Prosecutors in Brooklyn announced criminal charges against Asif Merchant, accusing him of traveling to New York for the purposes of trying to hire a hitman for the assassinations.

A Pakistani man with ties to the Iranian government sought to carry out a political assassination in the United States, a case that was investigated weeks before a gunman tried to kill former President Trump at a Pennsylvania campaign rally. 
Asif Merchant, 46, traveled to New York City and worked with a hit man to carry out the assassination in late August or early September, federal prosecutors said in a court complaint. The complaint says the plot was intended to target high-ranking U.S. officials, potentially including Trump.

"Working on behalf of others overseas, Merchant planned the murder of U.S. government officials on American soil," said U.S. Attorney Breon Peace for the Eastern District of New York. "This prosecution demonstrates that this Office and the entire U.S. Department of Justice will take swift and decisive action to protect our nation’s security, our government officials and our citizens from foreign threats."
