According to the IDF, some 30 terror operatives were gathered in three classrooms at a UN school. Palestinian civilians were also sheltering at the site, in an area the IDF says was separate from where the strike took place.
IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari in a press conference says the military is working to identify the other terrorists who were killed in the attack.
Hagari noted that intelligence indicated the terrorists were operating from inside three classrooms within the UNRWA school. He said the IDF delayed the strike two times after identifying civilians in the area.
“Some of these terrorists participated in the massacre on October 7. We will pursue anyone who participated in October 7,” he says.

80 Years Ago Today: My Grandfather"s Naval Ship, the U.S.S. Susan B. Anthony Was Sunk Off the Coast of Normandy, France in the English Channel 🇺🇸
Cruising through a swept English Channel under the cover of darkness, at precisely 8:20 AM on June 7, 1944, my Grandfather Fernando Baldassari's ship the U.S.S. Susan B. Anthony (AP-72) was sunk off the coast of Normandy, France when it was struck by dual mines.
The ship took an immediate hit to starboard and the troops were ordered to move to port side bringing the ship back to an even keel. The troops were ordered to prepare for entry into the water and they stripped themselves of heavy equipment and their boots. A fire broke out in the engine room and the hope to tow the Susan B. Anthony to shallow water was gone.
Fire control became the focus as landing crafts attempted to rescue the troops and crew onboard.
At 10:10AM, less than 2 hours after she was hit, the Susan B. Anthony took her last voyage and sank to the seabed of Normandy.
All 2,689 people onboard were rescued, and she remains one of the few WWII Wrecks in Normandy that sank with no loss of life.
STEVE'S TAKE: If it weren't for them being saved, I wouldn't be here today.
My Grandfather also served in the invasions of Sicily, North Africa, and the Philippine Islands.
My Father Paul Baldassari (also a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam) had this to say about it,
All of that generation were heroes in my book. I only wish we had Patriotic American Warriors like them to fight against the forces of darkness ravaging our world today. Here’s to you Grandpa, to you Dad, Uncles, and to all U.S. Military Veterans who have served this great nation.
I love you all dearly! To the future… Go with God for without Him, we are doomed already!
